Sulfadimethoxine Oral Solution
Product Description
A 12.5 percent concentrated antibacterial solution for use in drinking water. For oral use in beef cattle, dairy calves and dairy heifers, turkeys and chickens. Withdraw from cattle 7 days before slaughter. Not for use in veal calves.
DESCRIPTION: Antibacterial oral solution for use in chickens, turkeys, and cattle.
DIRECTIONS: Chickens - Use a 1fl oz to 2 gallon ratio of drinking water.Turkeys - Use a 1fl oz to 4 gallon ratio of drinking water.Stock Solution: Chickens - To make 2 gallons of Stock Solution use: 1 gallon of Sulfadimethoxine plus 1 gallon of water.Turkeys - 2 qts Sulfadimethoxine plus 6 qts of water.Cattle: 25 mg/lb first day followed by 12.5mg/lb/day for 4 days. First day, 1 gallon to 200 gallons in summer, 1 gallon to 127 gallons in winter. Next 4 days 1 gallon to 400 gallons in summer, 1 gallon to 266 gallons in winter.
